Social networking for romance readers
Hi,
Does anyone know of Crooked Cat Publishing? They are UK based and quite new - just wondered if anyone had had dealings with them and if they were OK/genuine or if they were one of these that then charges you and pretends to be a 'real' publisher - it doesn't say much on their website.
Also - I know this is about non fiction and not fiction - but I'll ask just in case - if anyone has any dealings/knowledge of a non fiction publisher called Infinite Ideas
Many thanks
Zanna

For example, how would a retailer interested in stocking a publishers books contact them - this should be obvious. The best thing I think is phone or email them and ask them about how they work. Or you could do this at the stage you've had work accepted and then you'll have a contract to get an opinion on. Another alternative is to track down one of their authors and ask them for an opinion. The look to me to be publishing as ebooks only but there is nothing outlining their business model on their website.
Thanks!

So have been wary ever since. Just put Mysterious Master by Isabella Rose on smashwords as e book. Its easy to do it yourself but you do have to fight hundreds of others to market it.
Moving house -tryng to sell second hand books which are supposed to be car booters dream -but even valuable books not wanted at moment. Money is tight. Hope you do o.k. Pam.
