Clink! Mine is a glass of Pinot Grigio tonight. I'm an author and also lucky enough to be site admin here and your hostess tonight. Please do tell us what you are drinking, where you are from and anything else we should know!
I live in a market town beside the Chiltern Hills, England, and have a West Highland White Terrier.

I don't think that looks like chick lit. Either way, it's lovely, Linda, as is Juliet's cover!

I thought it was too dramatic to suggest chick lit but I suppose a bride gives out a particular message. But the hero & heroine are actually divorced (from each other) so we thought the cover was quirkily appropriate.

Permalink Reply by Juliet Greenwood on February 14, 2012 at 20:24 Thanks, Rachel. Nice body you have there. If he's looking for another kidnappee ..... :)
Permalink Reply by Sharon Goodwin on February 14, 2012 at 21:13 love the enigma of the cover Juliette. I have a painting that is very similar.
Permalink Reply by Juliet Greenwood on February 14, 2012 at 21:26 Thanks, Sharon, I love that too. I love the fact that you can't see her face, and those trees are gorgeous. They were originally two separate versions of the cover, but then someone (not me) had a stroke of genius and put them together.
Funny, isn't it, the way things work out? And sometimes you can't see the obvious in front of you for ages. Cheers! Enjoy the cold stuff.

Well, not completely... ;-)
Hi, everyone. I'm Linda Gillard and mine's a G & T, please. I live on the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands (which isn't actually an island, but nearly.) I'm now an indie author bringing out new novels and backlist on Kindle. This venture has been a great success and brought me loads of new readers.
My most romantic novel is (despite its title) UNTYING THE KNOT

Permalink Reply by Talli Roland on February 14, 2012 at 19:51 Hello! I'm drinking pink champagne. Yes, I'm a walking cliche and I love it.
I write romantic fiction with a touch of snark (I can't help it), and I live in London with my husband who is right now in the kitchen cooking me dinner like a good man should be. I'm offering an ecopy of BUILD A MAN in the treasure hunt, so if you're interested, head over an answer the (very easy) question!

Hurrah! The best of husbands, and the best of Valentines!
Permalink Reply by Elin Gregory on February 14, 2012 at 20:42 Pink champagne! Nice. Have a grand evening.
Hi Talli, sounds good! We compromised and bought take-away sushi so neither of us had to cook :)
