The Wild Rose Press will release my latest Regency comedy novella, Gifts Gone Astray, on June 29.

BLURB:

A gift is a wonderful surprise. Or maybe not.

At the Earl of Langley's family gathering, everyone receives a gift, including the servants. Tutor Stephen Fairfax expects a small token, but the present from family member Mrs. Anne Copley, the widow who has caught his eye, is a dream come true.

Until he opens it. What a gift! How did that demure lady acquire such a book? And she wants to "study" the positions in it with him? If he accepts her offer, tempting as it is, he could lose his job.

Anne has no idea why Mr. Fairfax is in such a flutter. Her present is a simple book of illustrations. The subject interests them both, and she would like nothing better than to examine the book—and Mr. Fairfax—more closely.

To Touch the Knight

Kensington Zebra, July 2011

This is my fourth Kensington medieval, set during the Black Death.

Blurb:

As a pestilence sweeps medieval England, a low-born woman has only the sharpness of her wits—and the courage of her heart…

Edith of Warren Hemlet plays a dangerous game. At the knights’ tourneys across the land, among the lords and ladies, she is a strange foreign princess. But in the privacy of her tent with the other survivors of her village, she is but a smith’s widow with a silver tongue. They are well-fed, but if discovered, the punishment is death. And one knight—fierce, arrogant, and perilously appealing—is becoming far too attentive…

Sir Ranulf of Fredenwyke cares little for tourneys: playing for ladies’ favors, when his own lady is dead; feasting, while commoners starve; “friendly” combat, when he has seen real war. Still, one lady captivates him—mysterious in her veils and silks, intoxicating with her exotic scents and bold glances. Yet something in her eyes reminds him of home…and draws him irresistibly to learn her secrets…

Hi - I've just joined, and am really excited to find this place, there are so few places for authors in the UK--loads of "literary festivals" and  few conventions.

I have a book coming out on 4th July - published by Harlequin's digital arm "Carina Press"

It's a gay romance set in Bohemia and Berlin of the 1866 involving Prussian Hussars and is called "Muffled Drum"

Bohemia, 1866

They met in a port-side tavern, their lust-filled moments stolen from days of marching and madness. After eighteen months, Rittmeister Rudolph von Ratzlaff and first lieutenant Mathias Hofmann have decided to run away from everything they hold dear. Resigning their commissions is social suicide, but there’s no other choice. Someone will eventually see Rudolph's partiality towards Mathias.

Now their plans have gone horribly awry... When Mathias goes to Rudolph’s tent after their last battle, his lover looks at him without a hint of recognition.  Mathias can hardly believe the man he knew is gone. He wants to fill in so many of Rudolph’s missing memories, but the doctor says a shock could result in permanent damage. The pain of not being able to touch Rudolph in secret, the way he used to, is excruciating. Now Mathias must decide whether he wants to fight for the man he loves or forget him completely…

Thank you for letting me post and it's good to be here, I hope to meet many of you at the convention.

The audiobook version of Be My Hero is being released on July 19th by the fabulous AUDIOLARK

I have a new book out today!

FEVER CURE from Samhain Publishing

The road to heartbreak is paved with honorable intentions…

After a year dealing with her mum’s health scare and the end of a bad relationship, Keira Grayson was looking forward to kicking up her heels at her best friend’s wedding. Until she kicks off her (spare) knickers in front of the trifecta of perfection. Tom Carew. Son of an earl, honorable doctor and possibly the hottest man on the planet.

One look at Keira’s delightful embarrassment, and Tom’s hormone meter spins off the charts. Trouble is, his bags are already packed to return to the jungles of Papua New Guinea. He has patients waiting—and amends to make for a terrible choice that left devastation in its wake.

They both reason that indulging in a one-time dinner date won’t hurt…until their inhibitions melt away in the heat of their lethal sexual chemistry. Leaving Keira wondering if a sizzling fling is just what the doctor ordered, or another prescription for relationship disaster. And Tom fighting a battle against inner demons that could shatter both their hearts.
Product Warnings
This book contains a hot aristocratic doctor, sparky heroine, new uses for a chaise longue, a steamy shower scene and a knicker-ripping encounter in a four-poster bed.

Robert Hale will publish my fourth Regency tale at the end of July.

                                                                 The  Rake's  Challenge

Giles Maltravers has his rakish lifestyle turned upside down the day he saves Anna Lawrence from a pair of drunken young bloods. The irony is that Giles is now honour-bound to protect this headstrong girl.

Inspired by a fervent devotion to the works of Lord Byron, Anna is determined to live a life of adventure, but she plunges from one disaster into another. Giles has no time left to enjoy his former carefree existence, especially when the Prince Regent decides that Anna is just in his style....

             Beth Elliott

I have two books that launched in July 2011 - sorry, only just spotted this thread!

They are both self-published Regency romances. Hope that's OK.

One is a novella, A Most Dangerous Lady.

Lady Caroline masquerades as a highwayman to teach the rakish Lord Trajan Randall a lesson on how to treat a woman.

First in the "Petticoat Club" series of novellas, this is currently £1.32 on Amazon UK and $2.15 on Amazon US.

Caution (and smiley face!): this is a Red-Hot Regency. Some scenes may offend. Or seriously excite.

My other self-published title that launched in July is The Uncatchable Miss Faversham.

The cover here is the new one. It currently has a fun cartoon-style cover.

Scarred and limping after his involvement in the Peninsular War, the irascible Lord Nathaniel Sallinger has nothing to offer a woman but his scorn.

Until the captivating Miss Eleanor Faversham returns home to Warwickshire, that is, and Nathaniel realises he is vulnerable to at least one of her sex.

This is currently available as a Kindle edition on Amazon UK for £1.32 and in the Amazon US Kindle store for $2.15.

All prices, of course, may change periodically.

Many thanks for this oportunity to promote, and good luck with the festival!
