Comment by Catherine Winchester on June 10, 2013 at 16:54 Hi Guys.
I'm Cat and I've been self publishing for 3 years now. This year I can finally support myself with it and have given up the day job. I love telling stories and have been doing it since I was about 14; I wound continue to do it even if I never sold another book but it is nice to be able to write full time now. So, nice to meet you all.

Comment by jaqui wells on June 10, 2013 at 12:32 Hi folks, Finally have my romantic novel Midsummer Solstice by J. L. Wells, self published and up on Amazon. It's a magical tale of romance, intrigue and love, set amongst the Cornish landscape, rich in myths and legends of the sea. A great holiday read. Very excited! Thankyou for the help and advice I needed.
Comment by jaqui wells on May 29, 2013 at 10:36 Hi all, it's great to connect with other writers. I'm trying to get my first novel 'Midsummer Solstice' uploaded on Amazon. I was thinking it would be okay in HMTL format but it's still not right. Thankyou Francine for suggesting Mobi file. I'll see what I can do. Hopefully it will be easier to make corrections that work.

Comment by Beth Michele on May 29, 2013 at 2:15 Hi everyone! My name is Beth Michele and I recently self-published a new adult contemporary romance novel entitled Love Love! It is a story about letting go, trusting your heart, and rediscovering love. If I had to describe it, I'd say it is romantic, flirty, sexy, funny, and filled with emotion. Comment by Francine Howarth on May 28, 2013 at 20:07 Hi Jaqui,
Download Mobi Writer (Free) and use it to format your books. Download the Mobi reader, too, so that you can see any hiccups with formatting. It's a simple DIY tool for production of Kindle ready files.
Comment by jaqui wells on May 28, 2013 at 15:24 Hi, Does anyone know a website 'makemyebook' to mobi format? I have converted my book from Microsoft word to HTML. But the paragraphs are still uneven when I upload it to Amazon Kindle. I highlighted, set and justified but no luck. Can anyone suggest any other sight to format? Makemyebook seem the least expensive. Also do I have to register copyright here in the UK? Or can I just write my own? Much appreciate feedback. Best wishes Jaqui.
