I feel so wretched just now I have to share the angst.
The reason....?
As part of Kindle Select I recently made Eulogy's Secret available for free download. I had a fantastic response - 28,000 free downloads. Today, I got an email from my editor. She had been keeping an eye on reviews and was alarmed by a couple of bad reviews that mentionned poor formatting. I'm going on Friday. I'm on the paranormal panel - in a manner of speaking - scary :)
I've got a book launch to go to in Essex on the Saturday otherwise I'd have gone to the Festival on both days.
All I have to do is find my way there - even with sat nav - and the fact I'm only a few miles away, I'm still likely to get horribly lost! Years of working in central London and not knowing the area I live in I suppose! Pathetic but true.
