The deadline for the Festival Reader Awards is fast approaching: 1st September - So if any of you published authors have novels out, or about to come out, that are eligible for the Awards then please submit soon! There are Awards available for both Best Romantic Read and Best Historical Read. As Moderator of the Festival of Romance Reader Awards, I've been very impressed with the quality and number of novels so far submitted for the 'Best Historical' Award. Please keep them coming in, the more the better! What's slightly surprised me so far is that we've had a relatively modest number of submissions in the 'Best Romantic Read' category - contemporary romance, put broadly - romance that isn't historical.
