Some of You May Relate
The heroine of my romantic time-travel novels passes herself off as being in her mid-thirties whenever she journeys into the past. Therefore, no one she encounters in the past guesses that she's more of an age...well let's just say, my age. Lucky her, she never suffers from hot-flashes, they will have…

Author uncovered as serial copyright thief
Romantic fiction readers and authors around the world have reacted angrily as it become clear yesterday that a plagiarist who goes by the pen names Kay Manning and Payton Bradshaw had not only plagiarized work by author Liz Fielding but a number of other authors. Romance stories by Julia Kenner, Catherine Mann, Marie Ferrarella, Gena Dalton were all discovered being sold online by Kay Manning/Payton…

In the 1950s one couldn't buy a copy of Lady Chatterley's Lover in the UK. In the 1920s if one wanted a copy of The Well of Loneliness you had to go to Paris to buy it. Censorship in the UK laid down very strict rules on what was and was not suitable matter for publication. Those days are over, thank goodness. Authors in all genres can explore subjects that were taboo only a few years ago and the body of literature is much richer for that freedom.
Nobody wants to return to those…

Hi Everyone .
I have been fairly quiet lately after breaking my arm in two places just four weeks before the release date of my first novel. Needless to say it was a rotten start to 2012. Being unable to use a keyboard just when you are caught up in a frenzy of editing is really frustrating.
Anyway, I am up and running now and looking forward to…

I made Amazon's Best-Seller listing at No 20!
Can't believe I did it, but I hit the best-seller list at Amazon and reached the top twenty on Friday night. Whoa... Sales of my newbie Regency Romance & Murder Mystery soared! Hee hee, going down now: as the bellboy says... But hey, it was good while it lasted and sales are back to ticking along nicely. I really don't get it, because I haven't asked for reviews, have only had but a few on the first novel I posted to Kindle and still I can make it into the top twenty in Amazon's…
