these can be brutal I've had some that have been constructive -but -if you read a book not in a genre you like its difficult to be impartial. If I really don't like it and think its obscene then I pass and refuse to review it. But that doesn't happen often. So its a good site to test your story line. And if people don't like your characters they don't hesitate to say so.

So Elle if you try this site keep in mind its only one persons opinion and they might be wrong.

reviewing other authors work.-easy or difficult

I've just reviewed a paranormal book for Carol Arnall who looks at things from a psychiatrists point of view.  

It was easy to give an excellent report on this fascinating book with interesting characters.

Lily the matriarch is blind to her second husbands faults.Leading to trauma for the girls.

I always comment on the best aspects of any book but this is an interesting read.

How do other people find reviewing novels easy or difficult.

Kindle versus Smashwords

Kindle versus Smashwords for ebooks?

I like the Kindle because the format is kinder and not so difficult to get exactly right for publishing.

Smashwords is far more difficult as it takes in so many different applications. But it does tell you how many people have downloaded your work -and how many have actually bought.

What I love about ebooks is the fast way you can alter or add information and republish within 24 hours.
