Sapphire Star Publishing signs Nicky Wells' debut novel, "Sophie's Turn"

I am tremendously excited to share my great news with you today!  I'm still dancing around like a wild thing, but I think that's probably ok....  Sapphire Star Publishing--featured on Romantic Fiction Online recently in an EXCLUSIVE--have just signed my 'rock star romance', "Sophie's Turn."  You can imagine that I am over the moon!  And thus... I am shouting it from the rooftops. :-)

 

Sapphire Star Publishing is a small press publisher dedicated to bringing readers the finest fiction.  The company works closely with its authors to grant each publication the opportunity to reach its full potential.  Unsurprisingly, then, everyone at SSP is really passionate about books, dedicated and motivated, and highly professional. When I discovered that SSP was accepting submissions, well, I was off to my email in a flash. 

 

I soon heard back with a request for the full manuscript, and then I waited and soon found out that they loved "Sophie's Turn." 

 

Sapphire Star will officially relaunch "Sophie's Turn" on 6 September 2012.  And today, I am celebrating over on my blog... feel free to pop by and join me.  Thanks for listening and sharing in my excitement!

Hi Susan,  thanks so much for your message and kind words!  It was a bit tense, I have to confess.  The SSP website says to allow four to six weeks, so I was trying not to count the days.  In the end, it didn't take quite that long. Sophie's Turn will be relaunched in September so it's a little while to go until any sales roll in yet... but thanks again for your good wishes! X

Congratulations Nicky, you must be thrilled. It must have been nail-biting between having the full requested and the 'Go ahead' given. How long did you have to wait to be told the good news? I wish you the best of luck with sales.
