Book Review: Opposites Attract by Angela Britnell

Opposites Attract

Angela Britnell

Desert Breeze, Jan 2012

When Holly, a top British police woman, is presented with a subscription to The Opposites Attract dating agency by her mother, will there be a happy ever after ending when she meets Brett, a top American crime novelist or will it be their parents who end up together?

This book is definitely not your normal boy meets girl romance. Although it begins as a romance, as I got further into the book, I would definitely not class this as traditional chick lit. Add into the mix Holly’s police work and Brett’s slightly deranged ex lover, whom he tries to rekindle their relationship with, the book had some added although lighthearted suspense. It was a good read and I would recommend it to those who want something going on than just a good romance.

Our Classification: Good Read

Our Opinion: Chick Lit with some added suspense.
