Strange questions, I know ...
Has anyone written a love scene from male POV? with exception of the gentlemen amongst us.
I'm curious, because two of my heroes have taken over the pen.
Fellow writers who've read "The Highwayman's Mistress" thoroughly enjoyed the love scene in a horse drawn coach, in which Francois reveals inner thoughts. Women thought it "raunchy sensual" - "hot hot" - "wow sensual", and the only man who was asked to comment said it was "earthy sensual and spot-on male POV"
In my latest, "Scandalous Whispers", again the hero has taken the pen, so to speak... It's the only love scene, but that's how it goes sometimes. And in any case, he's gorgeous and Hussar to his very boots!
Have you ever considered writing a love scene from male POV?

Yep, strange questions asked of authors, true enough. Even worse if one happened to be writing erotica (BDSM) as I was when cutting my writing teeth as an author. Oh Yes, I knew the owner/editor of "Secret" magazine, met him in Brussels, and oh boy, I've never seen so much leather nor whips in my life and I've been a horsey person since knee high to my grand-pappy.
Hee hee, so loved your Ratty feller! He's a memorable character.

Comment by Sue Moorcroft on November 10, 2011 at 23:07 Yes, I do it, too. My publisher, Choc Lit, likes a well-developed hero, including his POV, so it's natural that some love/sex scenes are through his eyes (etc.). I really hadn't thought a lot about it until recently, when someone asked me whether I made love to women as part of my research. (I don't.)
